About Me

Welcome To The Dark Fantasy of Carpathia These tales are the shadowed history of Carpathia, a world shaped not by science, but by monsters, magic, faith, conquest, rebellion, and power- the power to raise empires, and the power to destroy them. Today, we know the years before the last two millennia as BC- “Before Christ.” But long ago, those same letters bore a far darker meaning: Blood Conquest. In that age, the known world bowed beneath the rule of an ancient vampire, the Blood King, and his Elven disciples. The Millennia under his dominion reshaped the face of civilization and defined an era of fear, when most souls lived as little more than speaking cattle. In the year that ended the Blood Conquest calendar, a coalition of seven heroes, bearing seven sacred artifacts, rose against the Blood King. Their victory shattered his reign and gave birth to a new era- AD, After Defeat. Yet freedom proved fragile. The Blood King’s empire did not collapse overnight; it died in spasms of chaos and fire. As the old order crumbled, the world fell into darkness once more— fractured by war, ambition, and the endless shifting of borders. By 900 AD, in the region now known as Piatra Neamț, the city of Muldavia, capital of the Principality of Carpathia, rose in rebellion and cast down its rulers. In their place, the people crowned Nikolai Verhago as their king, and from that moment, the Kingdom of Carpathia was born. Within a decade, it had grown into an empire. With calculated precision, Carpathia expanded, unifying some, subjugating others, spreading stability, order, and domination in equal measure. Two centuries later, in 1101 AD, the God-Emperor Verhago reigned over nearly all the known world, enforcing his grim vision of order on a global scale.
